What the official deficiency says

(1) In caring for a resident's health condition, facility staff, other than appropriately skilled health professionals, shall not perform any health care procedure that under law may only be performed by an appropriately skilled professional. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation, interview, and records review the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. Staff are responsible and providing meals, fluids, and medication to resident #1 through G-tube. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
