What the official deficiency says
(a) If a licensee of a residential care facility for the elderly increases the rates of fees for residents...provide no less than 60 days' prior written notice to the residents or the residents' representatives setting forth the amount of the increase...with residents. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on interviews and documents reviewed, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above, as the licensee failed to provide sufficient notice to R1 and R1’s responsible party regarding rate increase, which poses a potential health and safety risk to residents in care.
Official plan of correction

Deadline recorded: May 26, 2023. A deadline is not proof that correction was completed.
