Personnel Requirements - General Residents shall not be used as substitutes for required staff but may, as a voluntary part of their program of activities, participate in household duties and other tasks suited to the resident's needs and abilities. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on S2 admitted to requesting a resident to assist with another resident for lifting purposes. However, R1 was lifted by EMT with no injuries. This violation poses a potential health, and safety risk to residents in care.

This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on observations, the floors in the hallway near resident bedrooms and in the main rooms were not maintained clean, sanitary, or in good repair. The licensee will buy a lock box or lock for the cabinet to ensure that the sharps are kept locked and inaccessible to clients moving forward. Licensee to send picture to LPA Valerio showing locked sharps by POC.
