87465 Incidental Medical and Dental Care (c)..., facility staff designated by the licensee shall be permitted to assist the resident with self-administration... (3)A record of each dose is maintained in the resident's record. The record shall include the date and time...This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Based on record review, 6 out of 6 residents did not have staff initials for medications on the evening of 03/08/22 and the morning of 03/09/22, which poses a potential health safety risk to residents in care.

Licensee stated staff went through in-service training and Licensee completed training with Alta.Licensee has implemented a double-check system with medication pass. Licensee stated at every pass, there are two staff member observing the pass to ensure no errors occur. Sign in sheet to be submitted by POC due date.
