87465 Incidental Medical and Dental Care (h)The following requirements shall apply to medications which are centrally stored:(6) The licensee shall be responsible for assuring that a record of centrally stored prescription medications for each resident is maintained for at least one year and includes This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Deficient Practice Statement Licensee did not keep centrally stored medication records for the month of October 2024. Based on observation and records review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 3 out of 5 residents which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

Incidental Medical and Dental Care - (h) The following requirements shall apply to medications which are centrally stored: (5) Each resident's medication shall be stored in its originally received container. No medications shall be transferred between containers. Based on LPA Gardner's observation of medication not in its original prescribed container even though the medication was in a locked drawer, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above which poses an potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
