Care of Bedridden Residents (c) To accept or retain a bedridden person, other than for a temporary illness or recovery from surgery, a facility shall obtain and maintain an appropriate fire clearance as specified in Section 87202(a). This requirement was not met as evidenced by: staff and client interviews acknowledge that R1 requires full assist with ADLs including repositioning. This poses an immediate threat to the health and safety of residents in care.

This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on interviews conducted and records reviewed, facility did not ensure that resident files were complete and did not ensure R1's documents were seperate from another individual, which poses a potential health, safety, and personal rights risk to residents in care.
