What the official deficiency says

(a) All facilities shall maintain a fire clearance approved by the city, county, or city and county fire department or district providing fire protection services, or the State Fire Marshal. Prior to accepting or retaining any of the following types of persons, the applicant or licensee shall notify the licensing agency and obtain an appropriate fire clearance approved by the city, county, or city and county fire department or district providing fire protection services, or the State Fire Marshal: This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. LPA observed the facility did not maintain an approved fire clearance for the enclosed office room located in the garage.This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

POC Due Date: 08/15/2024 Plan of Correction Licensee states they will provide a LIC200, a copy of the old facility sketch, new facility sketch with the office in the garage, a letter indicating the addition of the office room in the garage, and a check in the amount of $25 payable to California Department of Social Services to CCLD via email to edward.kim@dss.ca.gov by POC due date August 15, 2024.
