What the official deficiency says

Personal Rights of Residents in All Facilities ... To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Resident was restrained by a physical restraint while on bed and chair to prevent from falling. This poses as an immediate health and safety risk to residents in care.

Official plan of correction

During the initial complaint investigation visit resident did not have the physical restraint anymore. Licensee to provide a written statement of understanding of the regulation and forward to LPA by POC due date. Also Licensee will conduct an in-service training with staff. **THIS IS AN AMENDED REPORT**
