This requirement is not met as evidence by: Based on interviews with staff and witnesses, as well as records reviewed, it was determined that Resident 1 (R1) sustained pressure injuries resulting from a lapse in supervision. Evidence indicates that R1 was found on the floor and remained there for an extended period of time. This poses an immediate health and safety risk to residents in care.

Maintenance and Operation - Faucets used by residents for personal care such as shaving and grooming shall deliver hot water. Hot water temperature controls shall be maintained to automatically regulate the temperature of hot water used by residents to attain a temperature of not less than 105 degree F and not more than 120 degrees F. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: From 1/28/23 until 2/4/23; hot water was not available in resident rooms, 335, 230, 109 and 210.
