87464 Basic Services (f) Basic services shall at a minimum include:(4) Personal assistance and care as needed by the resident and as indicated in the pre-admission appraisal, with those activities of daily living such as dressing, eating, bathing and assistance with taking prescribed medications, as specified in Section 87608, Postural Supports. Based on interviews and record review, the facility failed to follow R1's care plan for showers that resulted in 3 missed showers for the month of february which posed a potential personal rights risk to residents in care.

87555 General Food Service Requirements (a) The total daily diet shall be of the quality and in the quantity necessary to meet the needs of the residents and shall meet the Recommended Dietary Allowances of the Food and Nutrition Board of the National Research Council. All food shall be selected, stored, prepared and served in a safe and healthful manner.(8) All food shall be of good quality. Commercial foods shall be approved by appropriate federal, state and local authorities. Food in damaged containers shall not be accepted, used or retained. Based on interviews and obsevation, the facility had expired food that caused residents to become ill which posed a which posed an immediately health, safety, and personal rights risk to residents in care.
