87555 General Food Service Requirements (b) The following food service requirements shall apply: (21) Freezers . . . shall be maintained at a temperature of 0 degrees F . . . and refrigerators . . . shall maintain a maximum temperature of 40 degrees F . . . This requirement is not met as evidenced by: On 04/24/2026, LPA Sampair observed the temperatures of the outside refrigerator/freezer was 47.6 F and 15.5 F respectively. On 04/27/2026, the inside refrigerator/freezer was 35.7 F and 6.8 F respectively, which serves as a potential risk to the health of residents in care.

On or before the due date, the Licensee will send proof to LPA Sampair that the interior and exterior refrigerator/freezers are at 40.0 and 0.0 F or lower respectively.

(a) The pre-admission appraisal, as specified in Section 87457, Pre-Admission Appraisal, shall be updated, in writing as frequently as necessary or once every 12 months, whichever occurs first, to note significant changes in condition, as defined in Section 87101, Definitions, and to keep the appraisal accurate. For the purposes of this section, the updated pre-admission appraisal shall be referred to as the reappraisal. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Deficient Practice Statement Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in 2 out of 5 resident files Appraisal Needs and Services have been completed within 12 the past months, which poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
