(e) Water supplies and plumbing fixtures shall be maintained as follows: (3) Taps delivering water at 125 degree F (52 degrees C) or above shall be prominently identified by warning signs. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above due to the hot water in the residents' restroom measuring to 123.6 degrees Fahrenheit, which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.

(a) Residents in all residential care facilities for the elderly shall have all of the following personal rights: This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as there was a camera in a resident's room streaming to a device in the kitchen with both visual and audio, which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
Official plan of correction
POC Due Date: 10/24/2025 Plan of Correction Fixed on site. Staff removed the camera from the resident's room. If required in the future, administrator demonstrated understanding that there needs to be a signed form expressing consent from the resident/family to use the device, and understood that there can be no audio streaming.
