What the official deficiency says

(2) Faucets used by residents for personal care such as shaving and grooming shall deliver hot water. Hot water temperature controls shall be maintained to automatically regulate the temperature of hot water used by residents to attain a temperature of not less than 105 degree F (41 degrees C) and not more than 120 degree F (49 degrees C). This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as the hot water temperature in the shared residents' bathroom measured to 134.3 degrees Fahrenheit, which poses an immediate health, safety, or personal rights risk to persons in care.

87355(e)(2) Criminal Record Clearance. Prior to working, residing or volunteering in a licensed facility, all individuals subject to a criminal record review shall request a transfer of a criminal record clearance from another facility or Trustline. -This requirement is not met as evidenced by: -Based on records review and interviews, the licensee did not comply with the section above by allowing statt (S1) to work and was without being finger print cleared. personal rights risks to persons in care.

Licensee/Administrator shall ensure that all employees prior to start date have been criminally cleared and associated to facility. Administrator to verify with CCLD that employees have an active association to facility before allowing to work. Administrator shall submit to CCLD LIC 9182 to associate any and all staff members whom are currently not associated to facility by POC date.

(A) A bed for each resident, except that married couples may be provided with one appropriate sized bed. Each bed shall be equipped with good springs, a clean and comfortable mattress, available pillow(s) and lightweight warm bedding. Fillings and covers for mattresses and pillows shall be flame retardant. Rubber sheeting shall be provided when necessary. This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation and interviews, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above by not having a bed in room one which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
